NYC lawmakers call for investigation into de Blasio, health officials after COVID czar caught bragging about sex parties during pandemic

New York City lawmakers asked for an investigation Friday right into ex-Mayor Bill de Blasio’s COVID Czar– after he was captured bragging on surprise camera about mosting likely to a drug-fueled sex party with thousands of people mid-pandemic.

“And all while he was playing ‘that remains in my mouth’ and tearing lines like he went to Fyre Celebration. Dr. Varma should have to obtain a public spanking, although after a couple of bumps he might easily,” Borelli said.

“In those private conversations that were secretly recorded, mated, diced, and taken out of context, I referred to occasions that transpired 4 years ago. In between April 2020– May 2021, I participated in 2 exclusive events. I take responsibility for not using the very best judgment at the time,” he said in a declaration.

A letter sent out to Audio speaker Adrienne Adams, Gale Brewer and Lynn Schulman urged the Autonomous council members to grill Varma– who claimed the clip was “out of context” but did not explicitly refute there were parties– along with de Blasio and then-Health Commissioner Dr. Dave Chokshi.

“Given the extensive influence the pandemic has had on our City, we are disgusted by the blatant pretension and foolhardiness by a public official entrusted with such a substantial responsibility,” the letter stated.

Council participant Robert Holden (D-Queens) also sent a letter to Manhattan District Lawyer Alvin Bragg and New York City’s Meantime Authorities Commissioner Thomas Donlon urging a comprehensive investigation right into Varma’s comments regarding a 200-person drug-fueled sex rave in the basement of a Wall Road bank throughout the summertime of 2020.
