Miss Palestine Controversy: Terrorism Ties and Backlash

Miss Palestine's participation in Miss World sparks controversy due to her marriage to Marwan Barghouti's son and allegations of insensitive imagery. Miss Israel calls for action.

Controversial Connection to Terrorism

The false eyelashes struck the fan ever since the information broke that the first-ever “Miss Palestine” participant in the Miss World pageant, Nadeen Ayoub, married the child of incarcerated infamous Fatah terrorist, Marwan Barghouti, and even named a child after him.

Shiraz’s Disapproval and Allegations

For Shiraz, a UC Berkeley-educated former data researcher, Ayoub’s presence really felt “extremely unpleasant– not aligned with the angelic persona she’s attempting to depict of herself, not just to me but to lots of people who satisfied her.”

She slammed her Arab rival for publishing pictures that conjured up the murdered Bibas youngsters, Ariel, 4, and Kfir, 9 months, as Palestinian casualties of the battle in Gaza rather than sufferers of Hamas terrorists.

“It makes my skin crawl believing we remained in the very same area a lot of times,” said Shiraz, noting pictures of Ayoub with her alleged hubby and the spouse of terror mastermind, Marwan Barghouti, “appears to offer consolation with horror.”

Call for Corrective Action

“I don’t require to serve as the ethical CEO of Miss Cosmos– they should have the ability to do that themselves,” added Shiraz, who said she dealt with fatality hazards following allegations she offered the side-eye to Miss Palestine on phase.
