Merchant Bath & Body Functions is hurrying and apologizing to pull a holiday-themed candle light from its shelves after online customers highlighted its label being evocative the white hoods synonymous with the Ku Klux Klan.
The Columbus, Ohio-based company, understood for its individual treatment and home fragrance products, is saying sorry to those it annoyed after the product label on its “Snowed In” candle incorrectly drew contrasts to White supremacist team, which created after the Civil War.
