The offenders, consisting of 7 suspects from 3 families, were butted in a 108-count charge after running for more than a year out of a shop and van a brief walk from the ballpark, the Bronx Area Attorney’s Workplace said.
The probe started in March 2023 at the former Lush Smoke Patronize 90 East 161 Street where a covert private investigator got drug and methamphetamine pills from claimed supplier Jose Tejada Jr, the district lawyer’s office stated.
“These fees emphasize the harmful threat that unlawful weapons and medicines continue to posture on the roads of New York City, as well as our steady devotion to enhancing quality of life in every neighborhood,” he said in a declaration.
Tejada Jr. and his dad Jose Tejada Sr. 60, are encountering charges in the instance. Furthermore, Jeriel Fernandez, 30, Jael Fernandez, 21, Jonathan Fernandez, 31, that belong, Ronny and Marvin Fortuna and Christian Espinal, 49, are all facing different costs from the stretching indictment.
“The accused who allegedly marketed eight weapons to a covert NYPD policeman presumably placed thousands of train commuters, those who go and work to school close by, and baseball fans in jeopardy,” Bronx DA Darcel Clark claimed in a declaration.
