Woman Stabs Friend in Uber with Scissors After Being Told Not to Drink Beer

Lynn Marie Zamora, 32, jailed for stabbing her friend with scissors in an Uber after an alcohol dispute. She's on probation for prior battery against an elder and appeared troubled by her $7,500 bond.

After the victim told Zamora several times that she could not consume in the Uber, she allegedly “eliminated a set of scissors from her bag” and proceeded to stab her pal once in his left bicep and left calf bone, the outlet reported.

Court Proceedings Begin
Following the court’s order to hold Zamora on probable cause with a bond evaluated $7,500, Zamora became visibly troubled, pleading with the court in spite of the audio being muted before being accompanied away by a sheriff.

Uber’s Alcohol Policy
According to Uber’s community guidelines, “drug use and open containers of alcohol are never ever permitted while using the Uber Marketplace System,” and riders are advised to “never bring controlled substances or open containers of alcohol into a cars and truck.”
Suspect’s Probation Status
The 32-year-old appeared over a video contact front of a judge on Wednesday from jail, where it was exposed that she was already on probation for a different battery sentence against an individual aged 65 years or older, video gotten by WSVN shows.
